This Privacy policy explains how TransformingSports OÜ, trading as Transforming Basketball (“we”, “us”, “our”), handles personal information collected through this website. It applies to this site and the resources, communications and purchases offered through it.

We collect information in the following ways:

• Information you give us. When you sign up for a free resource or our email updates, we collect your email address and, where offered, your first name. If you complete our quiz, we collect your email address and the answers you give about your coaching context so we can send your recommended pathway. When you send us an enquiry or use our contact form (including enquiries about camps and clinics), we collect the details you provide, such as your name, email address, a topic, and the content of your message.
• Purchases. Payments are handled by a third-party checkout provider (SamCart). You enter your payment details directly with that provider on their checkout, not on this website. We receive the confirmation and order details we need to fulfil your purchase.
• Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting platform processes basic technical data (such as your IP address and browser information) to serve pages and keep the site secure. If you give consent, analytics or marketing tools may set cookies or similar identifiers.
• Your preferences. We store your cookie-consent choice in your browser so we can respect it on future visits. Where you arrive from a campaign link, basic referral information (for example UTM tags) may be stored in your browser to understand how people find our resources; this is cleared if you withdraw analytics consent.

We use personal information to:

• deliver the free resources and email updates you request, and let you unsubscribe at any time;
• respond to your enquiries and provide support;
• process and fulfil purchases you make;
• operate, secure, maintain and improve the website; and
• measure and understand how the site is used, where you have consented to analytics.

Where data-protection law (such as the EU/UK GDPR) applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

• Performance of a contract — to deliver resources and purchases you have requested.

Some pages embed content from third parties — for example YouTube video players, and Spotify or Libsyn podcast players. When you play or interact with that content, those providers may set their own cookies, which are governed by their own privacy policies.

When you open website chat, we load Crisp to handle your conversation. Crisp processes the messages, attachments and contact details you choose to provide, along with technical information needed to deliver the chat. A chat cookie helps keep your conversation available. The chat service loads when you ask for help.

Our support team can read and respond to your conversation. An AI assistant may help answer questions when enabled; you can ask to speak with a person. Please do not send passwords, payment card details or sensitive information about a child. Using chat does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the website and deliver what you have asked for. These currently include categories such as website and database hosting, email delivery, checkout and payments, and content management.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our legal rights, or in connection with a business sale or reorganisation.

We and our service providers may process personal information in countries outside the one in which you live, including the United States. We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law.

• If you unsubscribe from marketing emails, we stop sending you those emails. To honour that choice, we may keep a record of your preference (for example on a suppression or unsubscribe list) rather than deleting your details straight away. Unsubscribing is not the same as deletion — you can ask us to delete your information at any time (see Your rights).
• We keep enquiry, contact and purchase records for as long as we need them to handle your request and to meet our legal, accounting and record-keeping obligations.

Our website, resources and email updates are aimed at coaches, trainers and other adults. Some of our activities — such as residential camps and player development — involve young people.

Where a young person takes part, we expect the related registration, enquiry or purchase to be completed by a parent, guardian or coach, and any information about a young person to be provided by a responsible adult in that context. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child through this website.
