Felix serves as the Youth Director of TSV Bayer 04 Leverkusen in Germany, where he develops the coaching staff based upon an evidence-based approach to coaching. He has received multiple coaching awards and is known for pioneering a Constraints-Led Approach to basketball coaching in Germany. Transforming basketball is all about unfolding potential. Potential unfolds naturally whenever it isn’t blocked. Everything that is alive grows and unfolds. This happens when you free yourself from entanglements. Transforming basketball will help and guide you with your own transformation.
He also received the “JBBL Youth Coach of the Year'' award in 2022 from the German Federation. Felix currently works for the First Bundesliga as a mentor for other coaches in the youth coach development program, while also acting as a mentor for the German Olympic Sports Federation in Cologne (DOSB Trainerakademie Köln).
Felix received a Bachelor of Science from DSHS Cologne, where he studied to be a sports scientist before embarking on his basketball coaching career. He was an ex-youth German National Team Player at the U16 and U20 levels, while also playing Pro B in Germany for over a decade.
