Kerri is a Player Development Coach and Current Head of Player Development for the Scottish Basketball Federation, leading their U14 Female & Male National Academy Programs.
Kerri is committed to shifting the female basketball culture globally through constantly exposing female athletes to unique evidence-based principles of skill acquisition. This is achieved while helping players learn how to move and find functional movement solutions effective for each individual. When it comes to development and learning, Kerri is extremely passionate about changing the narrative around how “failure” is defined. She places a big emphasis on helping players understand that they may not see immediate results, but when they continue to show up each day and train in effective environments, they are putting themselves in a position to succeed.
Acting as a role model for other female athletes, coaches and trainers while having the opportunity to be surrounded by other like-minded individuals from all over the world. Everyone’s unique perspectives challenge me and constantly push me to reframe what my minimum standard is.
